1989: The Academic Foundation
The journey began in 1989, when Muhammad earned his B.Sc. Honours in Agriculture, with a dual specialization in Entomology and Plant Pathology. While his peers focused on general farming, Muhammad was fascinated by the microscopic world of insect physiology and the complex pathology of how pests interact with human environments. This academic foundation is what allows him today to identify a pest not just by sight, but by its lifecycle, environmental triggers, and resistance patterns.
International Industry Expertise: Rhône-Poulenc & Arysta LifeScience
Following his graduation, Muhammad advanced into the global pest management industry, joining the French-based agricultural giant Rhône-Poulenc. There, he mastered large scale pest control strategies and chemical safety protocols. He further refined his technical expertise during a five-year tenure at Arysta LifeScience, one of the world’s most prominent developers of pest control technologies. This corporate experience gave him deep insight into the molecular chemistry of pesticides, ensuring that every treatment plan at Pest Solution Services is both safe and scientifically sound.
Bridging the Gap: The University of Guelph & Canadian Certification
Upon arriving in Canada, Muhammad recognized that the unique climate of Southern Ontario required a specialized approach. He continued his academic pursuit at the University of Guelph, Canada’s premier institution for agricultural and environmental sciences. By upgrading his credentials and obtaining his Ontario Structural Extermination Licenses, he bridged the gap between global scientific theory and the practical reality of Toronto’s urban pest challenges. He then returned to the pest industry and worked for major companies across Canada. During this time, Muhammad noticed that every single extermination company in the Canadian market was using the same exact ineffective method. This method was the “Spray and Pray” method, were technicians and exterminators would spray baseboards and furniture without ever finding the nest. This method was against everything Muhammad stood for and had spent years learning. It was a method that only addressed visible pests and ignored biological sources to the infestations.
2009: Revolutionizing the Canadian Industry
Thus, Muhammad founded Pest Solution Services to offer a revolutionary alternative. He pioneered the “Source-Based Elimination” methodology. A process that uses entomological data to track pheromone trails and harbourages back to the “Heart of the Infestation.” If the source isn’t destroyed, the infestation isn’t solved. This methodology is the reason Muhammad has a 100% success rate across more than 3,000 documented cases of beg bugs.
